Sussex Festival of Table Tennis - 7th September 2008

Part of the 2008 Sussex Games and incorporating the following elements….

• Junior Fun-Skills Competition
• Coaching Workshop for Adults
• The ‘Generations’ Exhibition

This Festival forms part of the 2008 Sussex Games, a series of elite and grass-roots events taking place in the county in the period 24th August to 14th Sept following the close of the Beijing Olympics at facilities earmarked as Olympic training venues for 2012. Situated at the fantastic Olympos Burgess Hill venue the table tennis on 7th Sept promises to be a real showpiece for engaging players of all levels (including new ones) and will be climaxed with the 'Generations' Exhibition (generously sponsored by Scope Recruitment Ltd) involving three of England's high profile players of the last 20 years - Alan Cooke, Matt Syed and Paul Drinkhall.

On the day there will be a Sussex Junior Circuit competition, Sussex Senior Circuit competition, Junior Fun-Skills Competition, A Coaching Workshop for Adults and a TT Roadshow Zone.

Entry deadline is Sunday 31st August. Please send entry form with a cheque payable to ‘Sussex Table Tennis Alliance’
- Circuit events involving teams of 2 are likely to include some doubles play. In the team event players should pair up with someone of at least roughly similar ability. If you do not have a partner we will find you one.
- *A 50% discount off the process stated above is available to players with a local authority concession card or equivalent
- The number of entries per event/workshop may be limited so please apply early to avoid disappointment. People may enter more than one event/workshop.
- The Olympos Burgess Hill has sit down catering facilities available
- The Sussex Festival of Table Tennis is an early season, development-led day with an ethos based on fun and fair play.
