The Haywards Heath and District Table Tennis League will recommence the table tennis coaching sessions for young players aged between 8-17 years on Sunday 8th January 2012 for eleven weeks.

Coaching will consist of registration and warm up between 5pm and 5.15pm followed by the coaching session. It is in your interest to arrive on time.

Group one is for beginners and will have a maximum of six players and will finish at 6.30pm. This makes allowance for the age of the beginners. Group two will be a combined group with improvers and advanced players under the control of head coach Marc Burman. To allow for quality coaching Group two will be restricted to 18 players and will finish at 7.15pm. Two ETTA Coaches Marc Burman (advanced group and improvers) and Steve Chambers (Beginners Group) will be there most nights and on the odd night when they are not there we will run a competition for their respective groups.

With the restriction of numbers it is necessary to get your application in early to avoid disappointment

The League has a strict child protection policy and a child protection officer. A copy of the League’s child protection policy is available for any parent who wishes to view it. 

The League has purchased a very advanced ROBOT and this will be used within the coaching.

Regrettably, owing to increased costs, coaching fees have to be raised.  They will be increased to £5 per week if paid weekly. But to encourage payment in advance that allows us to budget for the 11-week sessions the cost will be £38.50, which works out at £3.50 per week. The League has made provision to continue to subsidize the cost at around £30 per night.

Forms to be received by or on the 8th January and can be posted or brought along to the first session. Bats and balls can be borrowed free of charge, but as players improve, it is in their interest to have their own bat .
